Netherlands, Self-taught seasonal specialist with modern and classical influences.

I grew up on the beautiful apple farm the "Olmenhorst" just South of Amsterdam. Surrounded by lush green gardens and endless fields of apple trees I discovered my love for food, first cooking at home, and later working in various kitchens in the region.

In pursuit of greater goals, I moved to amsterdam at 18 were I started cooking for different catering companies and restaurants, gaining experience in cooking many styes of food.

Nowadays I found that I am not the person for a fixed job. I want to gain more and more experience and the best way to do that is by working in as many kitchens I can. I spend my time working as a freelance Chef, besides that I do workshops and catering. I travel a lot and work as a surf instructor in summer. This flexible lifestyle is a constant source of inspiration witch I can directly put to practice in one of the workshops.

Expect a workshop where we make dishes from seasonal and local ingredients mixed with international flavors and flair. Go home with a full belly and a lot of inspiration witch you can directly put to practice in your own home.
